  • Dr. Carley Starling
    Dr. Carley Starling
    Owner/CEO

Dr. Carley Starling has spent over twenty years working diligently in the field of behavior and psychology. She has spent the past five years in Nebraska bringing together a team in an effort to provide quality services to children and their families in a chronically underserved area. Her journey was influenced by her prior experiences setting up, running, and owning ABA clinics. That influence is more evident now than ever as she has once again assumed incredible responsibility and joys by founding Wabi Sabi Behavioral Health Center in Hastings, Nebraska.

In a commercial world, it makes perfect sense to search for the best product or company, because we want something that works for what we’re willing to invest. Dr. Carley continually invests her heart into the families and children whose lives she touches. It’s evident in the smiles she receives not only in her clinic but also within the community she serves. She is known in her community as a charismatic and fierce advocate. She proved this to be true on November 16, 2023, when she was granted the prestigious Education Rights Counsel’s Ambassador for Youth Rights Award, an award presented to an individual or family that advances children’s educational rights throughout the state of Nebraska. Dr. Carley is not simply invested in autism, testing and evaluation, and behavioral issues. She strives to better the lives of those around her in all areas of importance.

She fully embodies the “wisdom in natural simplicity” as her chosen clinic name indicates. There are few, if any, certainties in the choices we make. Dr. Carley, however, is one of those certainties of a deeper understanding and progressive change. She has shown time and time again what she values and is certainly going to make a difference as director of Wabi Sabi Behavioral Health Center.
